Regular exercise, like playing soccer and tennis not only nourish the body. Recent research shows men who used to play soccer and tennis can prevent brittle bone disease.People who are active by playing soccer, tennis or other sports, like basketball and volleyball for four hours a week or more can increase bone mass and prevent osteoporosis."Men who increase physical activity at age 19-24 years not only have healthy bones, but also have larger bones than those who do not do sports," said study author Dr. Mattias Lorentzon of the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, was launched by Dailymail (7/5).Larger bones with a greater mass is expected to be protective of the risk of osteoporosis, a disease that affects men and women at the age of 50 years and over which the bones become porous and weak from time to time.

"Osteoporosis occurs when a person is already entered the age of 25 years, when the bones begin to lose its network. So this study a very important message for young people. More and more mobile and active, the better your bone growth," said Dr Lorentzon.The findings, published in the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research involving 833 people earlier this aged 18-20 years in Gothenburd, Sweden. Researchers measured bone mass and asked participants about their exercise habits. Five years later, participants were asked to do another bone scan and record their physical activity levels.The results showed that participants who regularly exercise have a great opportunity to build strong bones. In addition, people who regularly exercise extra five years of research proven to increase hip bone density by 1.3 percent.While people who are lazy to exercise to lose bone mass at the hip to 2.1 percent. This condition is considered to be alarming, because they require the thinning of hip bones to rest at a later date. Hip fracture in men is also often leads to serious disability and complications.
